Sprays are fluid droplets that are formed through a process called atomisation and dispersed in gaseous form. They are generated by a spray nozzle. They are used to distribute liquid material over a surface area and often to generate a liquid surface-area. They are applied in agriculture, industry, cosmetics, painting and insecticides. They are used for killing insects, painting surfaces, applying herbicides on plants, steel production, mining gold and other precious metals, paper-making, foods and beverages, electrical power generation, gas turbines, for burning fuels in jet engines, cleaning surfaces and in the electronics industry – just to mention but a few!
Aerosols are substances which contain tiny insoluble particles that are distributed throughout other substances usually gas or liquids. They can either be natural or artificial. Natural aerosols include forest exudates, geyser streams and fogs. Artificial aerosols include dust particles, air pollutants, haze and smoke. They are used in dispersing insecticides, calibrating measuring instruments, conducting research, testing, sampling, filtering air, air fresheners, treatment of respiratory sicknesses and in the fuel-injection systems of combustion applications such as the internal combustion engines of cars. They are generated by atomizer nozzles, electronic cigarettes, aerosol sprays, nebulizer, electro-spray and vibrating-orifice aerosol generators.
Artificial Sprays and Aerosols are such as Febreeze can be extremely dangerous due to the following factors:
For these reasons, natural sprays and scents should be your preferred option. They have the following advantages:

Candles, with their rich history, extend back to biblical times; before the advent of electricity, they were the single source of artificial light. In present day, candles, even with electricity, are still very popular. Originally, candles were made from palm oil, coconut oil, olive oil and beeswax; however, most candles nowadays are made from paraffin.
Paraffin candles, though popular, are not the best form of candle to use; in fact, there are a lot of reasons why using a soy candle is a much better idea. First and foremost, the raw material used—paraffin itself—is a by-product of the crude oil distillation process. In its natural form, it’s a very unattractive greyish-black sludge. To make it usable, it is first bleached and then solidified by the addition of a carcinogenic chemical called “acrolyn”. These chemicals not only make the candle environmentally unfriendly, but also become a potential source of toxic, carcinogenic fumes when used in our homes.
Secondly, when burnt in air, paraffin candles produce a lot of soot; as a matter of fact, the scented ones are often even worse. Soot, when inhaled, can cause respiratory infections, asthma, allergy flare ups and other complications. The burning of paraffin candles also results in a large number of toxic by-products such as benzene, acetone and acetaldehyde—to mention just a few.
Soy candles therefore offer the most viable alternative to paraffin candles. Firstly, the candle is made from 100% soy beans with no additives or fillers, making it environmentally friendly and classified as a renewable resource.
Secondly, soy candles burn slower and at a lower temperature; this has the advantages of increasing the burn time while at the same time producing minimum residue. The residue itself is also biodegradable, unlike paraffin wax.
Finally, soy candles produce up to 90% less soot compared to that of paraffin candles; as a result, this makes them healthier to use even in enclosed spaces. Moreover, the room remains clean and soot free.
I think it’s abundantly clear that it’s now time to replace your paraffin candles with those made of soy—and as soon as possible!
Have you been into a Dollar Store lately?
I never thought that so many items could be priced so low. Who knew? And like most people, we try to save everywhere we can in order to make each dollar go farther and Dollar Stores seem like the perfect answer. However, here is the problem as I see it.
First, very few of the items in these stores, other than some food, are made in China or some other slave- labor country. Supporting these stores not only ensures that manufacturing in this great country of Canada continues to leave as it can't compete, but also ensures that countries like China and other slave-driven countries continue to grow. This is the very thing that got our country into such financial trouble, and will ensure our children and grandchildren continue to suffer under this burden—not to mention taxes, but that is a story for another time.
Second, the quality of the items in these stores on average is usually second rate at best, and will not hold up to higher quality items. I know that the candles I saw in these stores were poor quality, paraffin candles that were barely half-filled and full of everything you don't want in your home.
Third, the idea of “quantity over quality” is really no way to live. It is this very philosophy that has hooked so many on easy credit and to carry debt loads that are barely manageable. I guess I am a little nostalgic and still long for times when life just seemed so much simpler.
